Puerto Morelos, our home. This is where we are from and that’s why we made it our
base. A fishing village 20 minutes south from Cancun. Puerto Morelos has charming
and relaxed beaches, friendly locals, a fishermen dock, a leaning lighthouse and
nearby mangroves. Along its coast you’ll find part of the Mesoamerican Reef System
that runs all the way down the mexican Caribbean to Guatemala, Belize and Honduras.
Diving in Puerto Morelos is mostly done within the National Park “Arrecife de Puerto Morelos”. It became a natural protected area in 1998 and since then we have preserved it and all aquatic activities have been regulated. We consider it the pride of Puerto Morelos!
Here we can enjoy tropical underwater landscapes of coral reefs with sponges, fish, and a lot of life. It’s perfect to discover and learn scuba diving. We also have a fantastic shipwreck at 92ft, this is a true example of an artificial reef where life is abundant and we can witness underwater life. Gorgeous eagle rays oftenly come and visit at this amazing diving spot.
