TAMARA ADAME SÁNCHEZ
I was born in Cancun and I learned to dive when I was twelve years old in
Puerto Morelos. I studied a bachelors degree in Communication and specialised
in Organizational Communication and Marketing, when I finished my studies I
moved to Belgium. There I studied dutch and french, I worked for different
companies within the IT and automobile industry in charge of tradeshows,
events and marketing and communication campaigns, until I decided to change
career and become a scuba diving instructor.
When I decided to teach scuba diving I travelled to Indonesia and did my Divemaster internship in Pulau Weh with Lumba Lumba. After that I went back to my country, México, and I obtained my PADI Open Water Instructor title with Camille Laquerrière and Phocea. Finally I decided to move to Playa del Carmen in 2014 and I have since worked in the Mayan Riviera for different dive centers which has taught me a lot about the Caribbean coast of Mexico. I want to teach environmental conservation because I believe we can change the way of living for our local communities.
